The Washington Area Total Rewards Association (WATRA) is a not-for-profit organization with a purpose of fostering the betterment of Total Reward disciplines and providing career development opportunities for members within these disciplines. Membership is open to individuals who are involved or interested in compensation, benefits, wellness, or other total rewards policies and practices.

We provide major programs and events along with several networking and professional development opportunities for members and the total rewards community. Our main member services include:

• Regular professional development programs that deliver practical information members can apply at work and more in-depth certification courses from WorldatWork at discounted member prices. 
• Larger events with nationally recognized technical experts and strategists discussing key total rewards issues of the day and cutting-edge approaches.
• Community meetings and sessions are designed specifically to help members network, get to know resources they can offer each other, and facilitate longer-term career growth.
